Mario Lopez posts ‘creepy’ AI video of niece at Dodgers game

Television host Mario Lopez left many scratching their heads over an AI video that he posted, which showed his niece Kalia Wong rubbing mustard all over face while at a Dodgers-Red Sox game on Sunday.

“I can’t take her anywhere,” Lopez said in the clip as Kalia, who goes by YaYa, bit into two hot dogs while the toppings spilled on her Dodgers jersey.

It showed a closeup of Kalia smearing mustard and relish over her cheeks.

“Oh my God, look at you!” Lopez, who hosts “Access Hollywood,” said. “Youre a mess, the mustard!”

Kalia yelled, “It’s so good!”

The video was flagged by X with a notice that readers said it is AI.

Lopez also shared the clip to his Instagram Story and wrote, “My niece is out of control!”

Many didn’t hold back in their responses to Lopez.

“What the f–k, Mario?” Dan Katz, who co-hosts the Barstool Sports podcast, Pardon My Take” wrote.

“Pound for pound one of the weirdest tweets I’ve ever seen,” Barstool’s Jeff D. Lowe added.

“Uhhhh, what a creepy video for Mario Lopez to create using AI and then post… Especially since the subject is his niece!” Yashar Ali wrote.

Others guessed that Lopez might’ve been hacked.

The former “Saved By the Bell” actor has yet to address the online buzz.

Lopez was posting videos with his niece throughout the game across Instagram and X.

“Beautiful Sunday, uncle, niece day,” he said in an Instagram Story video, which showed the pair walking to Dodger Stadium.

“I’m so excited it’s going to be a good day,” Kalia said.

Lopez raved about the Dodgers’ blockbuster trade with the Detroit Tigers for pitcher, Tarik Skubal, reigning back-to-back Cy Young Award winner.

“Hotter than a Dodger dog on the grill out there, but the Dodgers might be even hotter,” Lopez said in the clip about the back-to-back World series champions. “Big moves. Let’s go, Skubal. Big expectations, and I’m all-in for this postseason push. Let’s do it.”

His captioned read: “Sunshine, baseball, family… doesn’t get much better than that. Let’s keep this postseason momentum rolling.”

The Dodgers lost 8-4 as the Red Sox completed a three-game sweep of the defending World Series champs.
