TICONDEROGA, NY – This is the first haunting glimpse of the desolate spot where tragic Melina Frattolin’s body was dumped in the Adirondacks after deranged dad Luciano allegedly killed her just over a year ago.

Frattolin, 45, went to twisted lengths to hide his child’s body in the pristine upstate forest, trudging past dense brush and rocky terrain before shoving her corpse under a fallen tree and submerging it in the mud with a massive rock, according to photos shown to jurors over the past week — giving the public its first glimpse of her gruesome final resting place as the dad’s trial now enters its third week.

The accused psycho father allegedly spent nearly 10 minutes navigating the twisting, winding path and bushwhacking through thick underbrush to reach the chilling spot.

Other exclusive footage of the location, which was along Paragon Brook and visited by The Post, shows the dense brush and rough terrain Frattolin allegedly navigated.

The rock used to weigh down Melina’s body was an extremely dense and weighty piece of feldspar, whose beautiful pearly quartz deposits are common to the Adirondacks.

Photos and footage showed it was left resting on a boulder near the site after Melina’s body was recovered.

It can be seen laying on its side, with its muddy mossy side that had remained undisturbed likely for centuries prior allegedly flipped over by Frattolin on that deadly night last summer, when he would report his daughter as having been kidnapped along the thruway.

But cops were quick to catch onto his bogus story, with license-plate readers and other information quickly allowing them to identify him as their suspect, authorities have said.

But Frattolin defiantly refused to come clean, even after state police investigators revealed they found Melina’s body, officials said.

Fewer than 12 hours after Melina was reported kidnapped, New York Forest Rangers, state police, local cops and other law enforcement swarmed the area of Eagle Lake in Ticonderoga, where they eventually located her body around 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2025.

The low-lying swampy wetland that encompasses Paragon Brook is the doorway to the Pharoah Lake wilderness, a remote part of the Adirondack back country popular with backpackers.

Frattolin would have had to navigate a weaving trail from the Short Swing Trailhead on Route 74, where location data extracted from his rental white Toyota Prius and shown to jurors revealed that he was parked there around an hour before he called 911 to report Melina kidnapped from a rest stop down the thruway.

The hike for an equipped and experienced backpacker would have clocked at just under 10 minutes, with them battling Adirondack black flies the whole time.

Frattolin was seen wearing OnCloud sneakers and royal-blue Lulu lemon shorts on surveillance footage from a Saratoga Springs McDonald’s a few hours earlier.

Prosecutors said they are still establishing the timeline around Melina’s final hours and what exactly spurred Frattolin to kill his daughter, who he’d fantasized of regaining custody of, according to strange writings found scattered throughout the Prius.

Melina’s mother, Kali Galanis, testified last week that her daughter called her to let her know Luciano was late returning her to her home in Montreal and that the pair would arrive at 8:30 p.m. July 19, 2025.

When Galanis asked Frattolin about their whereabouts, he responded around 8:55 p.m., or what would’ve been moments after emerging from the woods, soaked and dirty, after allegedly committing an unspeakable evil.

He texted her to say he and Melina would arrive in Montreal at 9:15 p.m.

At 9:20 p.m., Luciano’s Prius was spotted on a license-plate reader traveling southbound on I-87.

State troopers later found mud-covered blue Lulu Lemon shorts, sneakers and dirty wet wipes stuffed into a garbage bag and ditched alongside the interstate about half a mile up the road.
