Power agent Jeremy Barber weds Julia Katherine Wetherell in chic Martha’s Vineyard ceremony in front of A-list guests

The stars came out for a chic wedding on Martha’s Vineyard over the weekend, we hear, when Hollywood power agent Jeremy Barber and Julia Katherine Wetherell tied the knot on the tony island where they first met.
Showbiz sources were buzzing about the nuptials over the weekend.
Spotted at the intimate, elegant celebration were director Darren Aronofsky and Alice Lloyd George, Don Cheadle and Bridgid Coulter Cheadle, Liev Schreiber and Taylor Neisen Schreiber, insanely cool Duran Duran bassist John Taylor and Juicy Couture co-founder Gela Nash-Taylor, Simon Curtis and Elizabeth McGovern, Julie Taymor and Amy Brenneman among many more A-listers.
Photographer Gray Malin posted pics of the wedding on Instagram, including one shot with the caption: “Breathtaking tent under the Aquinnah Lighthouse,” the historic 1856 tower at the tip of the Vineyard.
Spies said that the ceremony took place at The Outermost Inn (run by rocker James Taylor‘s family members) — and that singer-songwriter Steve Forbert flew in to play the couple’s first dance to his 1979 hit, “Romeo’s Tune.”
A spy told us that singer Ira Wolf also “played a Bob Dylan song, and Ten Thousand Maniacs, for the processional and recessional” and “Alan Power flew in from UK” to also play the music-filled affair.
A local source told us of the beauteous bride, “Julia grew up spending summers in Chilmark and has a house down the road… Their relationship was born here, under the lighthouse.” The insider said that a swami pal of Barber’s even flew in from Jaipur to bless the pair, and that the wedding was officiated by the Rev. Dr. Byron Thomas.
Also in attendance, spies said, was Palm Beach designer Julia Amory, as well as industry players Jay Sures, Jim Berkus, David Kramer, Brent Morley, Toby Emmerich, Peter Principato, Jason Weinberg and David Nevins, plus Lord Julian and Lady Emma Fellowes (and their producer son Peregrine), Lord Saatchi and Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, “Freaky Friday” director Mark Waters, “Joker” screenwriter Scott Silver and industry moguls Len Blavatnik (with wife Emily) and Bob Pittman (with Elizabeth Gesas).
The bride’s dress was designed by London-based Michael Halpern, spies said.
We hear that KG Events & Design — which was behind President Obama’s star-studded 60th birthday, and Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe‘s wedding — planned the event, while Krishana Collins‘ Tea Lane Farm did the floral design and Shane Tank‘s Premier Chef Services the food.
Even the couple’s dog was part of the affair, adorably “escorting Julia’s son down the aisle as ring bearers,” a spy said.
The night before, guests were spotted at a warm welcome party at The Homeport Restaurant & Oyster Bar, and later wandered down to The Galley, where “Jaws” was filmed, for soft-serve ice cream.
We hear that the busy couple, who are blending families as part of their union, aren’t taking a honeymoon.
Barber is a partner in UTA’s Motion Picture Literary and Talent Departments who serves on the boards of KCRW and UNICEF, among other organizations. We’ve reached out to the newlyweds for comment.
