Heartbreaking police bodycam footage captures the rescue of a 4-year-old girl left home alone, only wearing a diaper at her father’s drug paraphernalia-ridden Colorado apartment.

The young child was found by police standing alone on a second-floor balcony crying out for help last Tuesday at around 10:30 p.m., according to the Boulder Police Department.

The girl was unable to open the door so the quick-thinking officers climbed up a fence and on top of the patrol cars to rescue the tot.

As the officer scaled the fence, the young girl could be heard yelling out, “Hey, don’t break that!”

“I won’t,” one of the officers reassures the girl, before successfully making it onto the balcony.

The youngster was unharmed but there was a “large amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia within her reach on the coffee table,” police said. 

Police officers changed the young girls’ diaper and helped her get dressed, before taking her to the statoin while they tried to reach her mother. 

Later, cops took the girl to her mother’s home in Denver. 

Cops were able to reach the girl’s father, identified as Paul Wilson, 44, who told police that his daughter was asleep when he left to get food.

While talking to police on the phone, Wilson refused to return back to his apartment. 

The next day, police “had a good idea where the father might be,” and tracked Wilson down at a bar in Boulder. 

The father was allegedly found with nearly 15 grams of cocaine and a large wad of cash in his possession at the bar and was swiftly arrested. 

While being arrested, Wilson can be heard saying to officers in the bodycam footage, “you’re too f–king good at your job man.”

Wilson was hit with several charges, including child abuse, reckless endangerment, felony unlawful possesion of cocaine, and felony drug distribution charges, a spokesperson for the Boulder Police Department confirmed to The Post.

“More importantly, we’re glad this sweet child wasn’t hurt and we hope she only remembers the kindness of everyone who helped her this week,” the department wrote on Facebook.
