The Michelle Pfeiffer-led drama delivered Taylor Sheridan’s most-watched first season launch to date, with the debut episode drawing 8 million global views in its first ten days. The first three episodes of Season 1 debuted on March 14, followed by the final three installments on March 21. The Madison may have only been around for two weeks, but it left a lasting impact.

An official release date has yet to be announced, but we do have some good news to share: The second season of The Madison has already been shot!

“The first season was a lot of grief and upheaval,” series star Beau Garrett told Deadline in June. “Now we’re settling into Montana in Season 2, and I think that there’s a lot that comes with that… There’s going to be stuff that comes up as time goes on.”

What’s The Latest on The Madison Season 2 Release Date?

As we mentioned above, Paramount has yet to announce an official release date, but we have a pretty good idea of when to expect new episodes.

During a May 2026 interview with The Playlist, The Madison star Ben Schnetzer revealed that he’s scheduled to start shooting Season 3 of the hit series at “the top of ’27,” adding that they’re timing it with the rollout of “when they drop Season 2.”

Considering MobLand Season 2 will premiere on Paramount+ in September, and Tulsa King, Dexter: Resurrection, and Mayor of Kingstown are all expected to be back with new seasons in 2026, The Madison returning for its hotly anticipated second season in early 2027, most likely January or February, makes sense to us.
