Nick Reiner accused of planning murders of parents Rob and Michele in new indictment
Nick Reiner has been indicted on new murder charges for the Dec. 2025 killings of his parents, Nick and Michele Reiner.
The indictment, filed on July 20 and unsealed on Wednesday, includes the allegation of “lying in wait,” a special circumstance that makes life without parole or the death penalty eligible at sentencing, according to the documents obtained by Page Six.
Nick is also being accused of using a dangerous and deadly weapon, a knife, in the indictment.

The 32-year-old pleaded not guilty to the new charges in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday.
The indictment allows prosecutors will a preliminary hearing, where evidence would be shown, and skip right to a trial.
“This was a profound betrayal by someone who was loved and trusted by the very people he is accused of killing,” Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said in a statement.
“The indictment unsealed today also adds a special circumstance allegation that the defendant committed the murders by means of lying in wait. We hope that by having a grand jury return an indictment in this case it will bring us one step closer to a trial and achieving justice.”
