Meet Mikayla Demaiter — the ‘world’s sexiest hockey player’ dating Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau and model Mikayla Demaiter are officially an item.

An insider to the couple told Us Weekly that while the relationship is new, the two are currently “very happy.”

Clues had been dropped online that had fans speculating over the relationship recently.

“They are both pretty private when it comes to relationships,” the insider added, as neither DeChameabu, 32, nor Demaiter, 26, have confirmed their relationship status.

Demaiter is a former goalie for the Bluewater Hawks of Canada’s Provincial Women’s Hockey League Junior League.

She retired at 19 due to injury and went on to pursue social media and modeling.

Demaiter has since amassed over 3 million followers on Instagram and 2.7 million on TikTok and has been dubbed “the world’s sexiest hockey player.”

While she is away from the sport, Demaiter still incorportates some hockey content into her social media posts, often posing in hockey gear.

“Everyone asks me why i chose to be a goalie, and the answer is simple — there’s nothing i love more than being number one,” she wrote in an Instagram post in May.

She also posted a few photos after the women’s Canada hockey team lost to Team USA in the gold medal match at the Milan Olympics in February.

“team canada may have lost, but canada is always a winner because it has me,” she wrote.

Demaiter started to be linked to the two-time U.S. Open champion when she was spotted wearing a guest pass at LIV Golf New York at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. She was also seen wearing a Crushers GC hat — the team DeChambeau captains for in the league.

The speculation escalated when Demaiter took a selfie in front of a closet full of sneakers and hats, and later she posted a picture of an ocean-side golf course on her Instagram story.

Fans began to believe the former hockey star was at DeChambeau’s home.

Us Weekly reported Detmaier plans to support DeChambeau at more events, which would likely include LIV Golf Indianapolis, which begins Thursday at The Club at Chatham Hills.

That is the last LIV event of the season with league canceling the team championships in Michigan as it deals with financial difficulties and an uncertain future.

It has been a rough year for DeChambeau, who missed the cut at the Masters, PGA Championship and U.S. Open before he finished tied for 14th at the British Open in July.

His British was derailed by a two-shot penalty for “inadvertently improving the area of his intended swing” in the second round. It moved him from 7-under par one shot out of the lead ahead of Saturday’s third round, to 5-under and in a tie for fifth.
