Amazon Prime accidentally hit “play” on Jason Statham’s new movie “Mutiny” in a major blunder just days before its theatrical debut.

The upcoming film was set to release in theaters Friday, but the movie was made available for streaming by Amazon Prime Video in the US on Wednesday morning for about an hour.

“I’m watching Jason Statham’s new movie Mutiny, streaming on Amazon for free right now. This has to be a huge mistake, right? My theater has showtimes starting this week!” one X user said at 4:13 a.m.

“Someone is getting fired over at Amazon. They uploaded Jason Statham’s new movie Mutiny on Prime a day before it hits theaters,” another user said.

While the movie is no longer available to stream, some subscribers were able to watch the entirety of the 95-minute film while it was up.

Statham plays the role of Cole Reed, a former Special Forces soldier turned elite personal bodyguard. Renowned for performing his own stunts and playing tough, antihero characters, the British star is best known for starring in “The Transporter” trilogy and in the “Fast & Furious” franchise.

“Mutiny” was produced by MadRiver Pictures alongside Punch Palace Productions – which is owned by Statham himself – and is being distributed by Lionsgate.
