Former child star Raquel Lee alleges she was was repeatedly sexually abused by a Disney employee while filming the 2001 Disney Channel movie, “The Poof Point.”

Lee was 14 years old at the time of filming. She’s suing the Walt Disney Company, accusing them of negligence.

The actress, now 39, alleges that she was sexually assaulted by a “middle-aged, male Disney employee” in her complaint, which was viewed by Page Six. She does not name the employee, whom she claims gave her alcohol and assaulted her multiple times while filming, including at a hotel where the cast and crew were staying in Salt Lake City as well as on a flight back to California.

According to Lee’s lawsuit, the employee whispered inappropriate comments like “last night was so good” to her on set in front of other adults, but she claims no one at Disney intervened.

She also alleges production separated her from her guardian and failed to provide appropriate supervision at the time.

Lee claims that after the alleged abuse, her behavior dramatically changed as a result, Disney executives blamed her for her deteriorating performance instead of investigating, and canceled her upcoming role.

Lee’s complaint, which she filed Friday, does not specify the amount she’s suing for, but she’s seeking damages for economic losses and emotional distress, as well as punitive damages, attorneys’ fees and other costs.

Page Six reached out to Lee’s attorneys, Douglas Wigdor and Jane Kim, for a statement, who told People in regards to the case: “Over the last decade, countless child actors have come forward to bravely share their experiences of abuse by adults in entertainment. As former government prosecutors, our message to the entertainment industry is simple: This conduct is inexcusable, and those involved — directly or indirectly — must be held accountable.”

Page Six also reached out to Disney, who has not responded to Lee’s lawsuit.

“The Poof Point,” which is about a experiment that makes two inventors younger and younger, also stars Tahj Mowry, Mark Curry and Dawnn Lewis.

Lee continued to work with Disney after “The Poof Point,” doing voiceover work on “The Proud Family” from 2001 to 2005. She later appeared in the Disney + revival, “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,” from 2022 to 2025.

Lee also appeared in the 2024 bombshell docuseries “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” in which she discussed her experience working on Nickelodeon’s “The Amanda Show.” She did not bring up her allegations against Disney at the time.
