Spencer Pratt likens Jimmy Kimmel to Harvey Weinstein after wife’s office romance confession

Spencer Pratt compared Jimmy Kimmel to convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein after Molly McNearney’s confession about their “bad idea” office romance.

The “Hills” alum reacted to Page Six’s story Monday about when McNearney knew her boss-turned-husband “wanted to f–k.”

“Isn’t this what Harvey Weinstein did?” Pratt, 43, wrote via X.

Kimmel’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

McNearney, who married the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host in 2013, told “Armchair Expert” podcast listeners Monday that she was “skittish” to date her now-husband as one of his show’s head writers since she had “worked really, really hard” in her career.

“I remember thinking, ‘Oh, no. This is a bad idea.’ He was my boss,” she recalled. I just kept thinking statistically this is not going to work out and your life isn’t going to change but mine does. And that’s what freaked me out.”

Her partner, 58, admitted during the episode that he “didn’t have that thought at the time,” to which she replied, “The person in power usually doesn’t.”

McNearney, 48, added, “I was very nervous about it changing the work dynamic and I was in a room of mostly men and we had a great thing going on … and I didn’t want it to change.”

After keeping their relationship “quiet” in the beginning, Kimmel and McNearney tied the knot and welcomed two kids — daughter Jane, 12, and son Billy, 9.

Pratt’s tweet likening Kimmel to Weinstein comes as the latter is serving a 16-year sentence for forcible rape and other sex crimes.

The disgraced movie producer, 74, was arrested in 2018 and sentenced to 23 years in prison for third-degree rape and one count of criminal sexual act.

That 2020 New York ruling, however, was overturned in 2024.

Meanwhile, Weinstein was sentenced in California in 2023 to 16 years behind bars for forcible rape, forcible oral copulation and sexual penetration by a foreign object, which he has appealed.

Most recently, he was convicted in his sexual assault retrial in Manhattan Criminal Court in 2024.

Kimmel blasted Weinstein in a 2017 New York magazine interview, saying he “couldn’t care less about” the Oscar winner and wanted him to “get what he deserves.”

The “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host went on to share his hopes the scandal would “make the guys who do this kind of thing think twice.”
