ESPN insider Adam Schefter will join NFL Network’s “The Insiders” weekly this fall, OutKick has learned.

Schefter first became a national NFL insider at NFL Network, where he worked from 2004 to 2009 before joining ESPN.

His debut on “The Insiders” will mark his first appearance on the network since departing 17 years ago.

Earlier this year, ESPN finalized its acquisition of NFL Network as part of an agreement that gave the NFL a 10% equity stake in ESPN.

“The Insiders” is NFL Network’s flagship evening program and was originally co-hosted by the network’s lead newsbreakers: Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo. Pelissero is no longer with the company after recently signing with The Ringer and Netflix.

Sources say Schefter is likely to co-host “The Insiders” on Wednesdays during the season.

Schefter’s addition to “The Insiders” is part of ESPN’s broader plan to feature talent from both companies across their respective platforms.

ESPN NFL reporters Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano are also expected to co-host the show at times this fall.

Likewise, NFL Network personalities Rapoport, Stacey Dales, Cynthia Frelund, Steve Smith, Kyle Brandt and Gerald McCoy are expected to appear on ESPN programming.

Elsewhere, Molly McGrath and Mina Kimes will make selected appearances on NFL Network, including NFL Network’s Sunday pregame show.

Last month, Adam Schefter reached a multi-year contract extension with ESPN. Ian Rapoport also signed a long-term agreement with the network.

Both insiders will have featured roles on the networks ahead of ESPN’s first Super Bowl broadcast in February, including hits on “Get Up,” “SportsCenter,” and the “Pat McAfee Show.”
