Kim Zolciak steps out for Palm Beach dinner as son KJ remains behind bars on sexual assault charges
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum Kim Zolciak was spotted seemingly stepping out for dinner in Palm Beach, Florida, just days after news broke that her 15-year-old son was arrested on alleged sexual assault charges.
The Bravo star was pictured leaving a restaurant on Wednesday with son Kash, 14, and boyfriend Kyle Mowitz.
She wore a form-fitting black dress with strappy stiletto heels for the evening outing, styling her blond hair down and wavy. Both Kash and Mowitz were also wearing black as they left the eatery.
At one point, the reality star, 48, appeared to adjust Kash’s collar as they chatted outside the establishment. She was also spotted having what appeared to be a serious conversation on her cell phone.
Reps for Zolciak and Mowitz did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on the circumstances of the outing.
Page Six confirmed on Friday that KJ Biermann, whom Zolciak shares with ex Kroy Biermann, was arrested last week on charges of alleged aggravated sexual battery and aggravated sodomy (a non-reproductive sexual act).
He was taken into custody last Monday and is being held without bond at Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center, with a hearing scheduled for Sept. 1.
KJ faces a new reality at the facility, as director of communications for the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice exclusively told Page Six on Wednesday.
“Youth at our detention centers follow a daily schedule that provides structure, accountability, education and chances for positive growth,” Allen told us in a statement.
“While schedules may vary by facility, programming needs, and security, each day is arranged to maintain a safe, structured environment that supports education and rehabilitation.”
According to court documents from Fulton County Georgia Juvenile obtained by Page Six on Friday, a female classmate claimed KJ assaulted her at a fitness center in a gym changing area in Alpharetta, Georgia on April 23.
The person claimed to officials that KJ allegedly forced himself on her despite her telling him “no,” and attempted “multiple times to have sexual intercourse with her by trying to pull down her pants.”
Additionally, she accused the teen of digitally penetrating her vagina and forcing oral sex during the alleged encounter.
The person also claimed that when she “finally managed to get away from him,” the “Don’t be Tardy” personality “pulled up his pants and left.”
Per the docs, KJ was visible on security cameras at the location that day, though he did not scan into the facility.
The alleged victim — who described herself as the “best friend” of “KJ’s girlfriend” and was 15 at the time of the incident — then claimed that after not disclosing the alleged encounter, she “ran into KJ’s girlfriend” at their school.
According to the documents, the alleged victim headed to a coffee shop before experiencing a panic attack and contacting family members.
According to a police report, an April 24 examination at the North Fulton Hospital in Georgia failed to turn up evidence of male DNA in her vagina or mouth. Authorities have initiated an investigation.
Cops made contact with Kroy, 40, in May, with the NFL alum telling them he’d speak to Zolciak about whether they’d allow an interview with their son.
Meanwhile, Zolciak shared a statement through a rep with Page Six on Friday labeling the allegations “nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling.”
“He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” the statement read, claiming KJ cleared a voluntary polygraph.
“Additionally, an examination was conducted, and no DNA belonging to my son was found,” the statement continued.
“We are also aware that this individual has made similar allegations involving two other people, which raises serious concerns that deserve to be carefully examined.”
The reality star insisted “false accusations” can have “devastating consequences” for the accused and to “genuine survivors of sexual assault and abuse.”
“Every legitimate allegation deserves to be taken seriously and investigated based on the facts and evidence,” she stated. “At the same time, no one should be publicly condemned based solely on an accusation.”
The TV personality’s statement concluded, “We remain confident that the facts and evidence will establish the truth, and we ask that people allow the proper process to take its course rather than spreading unproven allegations.”
KJ is expected to return to Juvenile Court Detention following his upcoming hearing on Sept. 1.
Zolciak and Kroy — who also share twins, Kaia and Kane, 12, as well as Zolciak’s daughters Brielle, 29, and Arielle, 24, from a previous relationship — have been in the midst of a volatile divorce since 2023.
