‘Adults’ Season 2 Cast: Your Guide To ‘Adults’ Season 2’s Iconic Guest Stars

Adults, Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw’s hit twenty-somethings hangout comedy, just dropped its highly anticipated Season 2 on Hulu. And in addition to reuniting with Samir (Malik Elassal), Billie (Lucy Freyer), Paul Baker (Jack Innanen), Issa (Amita Rao) and Anton (Owen Thiele), viewers are going to meet a fair share of new characters.

“The housemates tackle a new set of real-world questions. What if the 20-year-old who inherited your fake ID is cooler than you ever were, and younger than you’ll ever be again? How do you explain to your friends that you actually love your boring office job? Why does being around your family make you regress into your worst self? And how do you ask for things to change, when you also need everything to stay the same?” Season 2’s synopsis reads. “Together, the friends weave intricate webs of multi-player strategy just to avoid hurting someone else’s feelings. They invent elaborate workarounds for problems they’re too afraid to face head-on. It’s not so much that they keep learning the same lessons – it’s that they keep finding new ways to make mistakes. The one thing they consistently get right: showing up for each other.”

Season 1 welcomed iconic guest stars like Charlie Cox, Julia Fox, D’Arcy Carden, Tala Ashe, Lilah Guaragna, Ray Nicholson, and more. And as expected, Season 2 invites even more familiar faces to crash. From comedy legends like Susie Essman and Raven-Symoné to streaming stars like Gaten Matarazzo and creators like Anania, Caleb Simpson, Tiff Baira, and more, here’s a handy cast guide to help you get to know some of the major Adults Season 2 guest stars.

  • Liam Cullagh, Will Sennett, and Joey Dardano as The Bros

The bros are here! Liam Cullagh, Will Sennett, and Joey Dardano play Paul Baker’s “other friend group” that he met when he first moved to New York City — logically before the events of “Marathon Day” — in Adults Season 2, Episode 1, “The Scrub.” Stereotypically “bro” in all senses of the word, Anton deems them Paul Baker’s “shame friends.”

  • Susie Essman as Arliene in 'Adults'
    Photo: FX

Susie Essman plays Arlene, the mother of one of Billie’s childhood friends who has unfortunately (and in Billie’s case, inconveniently) since passed away, in Adults Season 2, Episode 1, “The Scrub.” You likely recognize Essman from playing Susie Green on Curb Your Enthusiasm. Billie gets schooled on doing club by the girl who’s been bestowed her fake ID, Sophie-Rose (played by Sophie Telegadis), and her friend and fellow early-20s friend, Garrett (Jake Shane), in Adults Season 2, Episode 2, “Fake ID.”

Telegadis is an actress and model who recently appeared in the 2025 movie Driver’s Ed, while Shane is best known for his viral Therapuss podcast. Follow them at @sophietelegadis and @passthatpuss.

  • Gaten Matarazzo as Alex (AKA Fake Samir)

Hayden Dimarco as Fake Samir 2, Dardan Prebreza as Fake Samir 3, Gaten Matarazzo as Alex, Malik Elassal as Samir

Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo cutely crashes the club as Alex, aka Fake Samir, in Season 2, Episode 2, “Fake ID.” Why? Eric’s (Isaac Powell) got his eyes on Anton in Adults Season 2, Episode 2, “Fake ID,” after the two realize they know the same seemingly secret “method” that can get them pretty much anything their hearts desire while out on the town. Powell’s credits include American Horror Story and The Beauty, and you can follow him on Instagram at @isaaccolepowell to learn more.

  • Raven-Symoné as Talia and Cassandra Blair as Brooke

Undoubtedly Season 2’s biggest, most delightful guest spot goes to That’s So Raven‘s Raven-Symoné, who plays Anton’s sister, Talia. In Season 2, Episode 3, Talia and wife Brooke (Jury Duty‘s Cassandra Blair) — who are considering starting a family — visit Anton in the city and unlock his exceptionally dramatic alter ego reserved solely for blood relatives. A+ performances all around. You can follow the Season 2 guest stars on Instagram at @ravensymone and @cassandrablaircurlyhair.

  • Ben Marshall on 'Adults'

Lucy Freyer as Billie, Amita Rao as Issa, Owen Thiele as Anton, Jack Innanen as Paul Baker, Malik Elassal as Samir, Julian Manjericho as Zach-Carlos, Andrew Butcher as Firefighter

The one, the only Julian Manjerico returns after his Season 1 finale introduction as Zach-Carlos bin Laden (yes, he added a new last name) in Season 2, Episode 5, “Room Swap.” No spoilers, but we’ll just say you’ll never guess why Zach-Carlos is in Samir’s parents’ house in a robe — and it’s not just to eat the last string cheese in their fridge. Manjericho remains a major scene stealer, and if he looks familiar, you may recognize him from A Man Called Otto or ABC Disney Discovers Showcase 2024. He’s also an Oh, Mary! understudy!
