Like Season 1, Adults Season 2 consists of eight episodes. But with the bonus “Marathon Day” episode, we’re technically getting nine new episodes this season.

Will There Be A Season 3 of Adults? Adults Season 3 Renewal Status:

As of Adults Season 2 premiere day on Thursday, August 28, Adults had yet to officially be renewed by FX, but that’s not to say the show’s over. It’s common for streamers and networks to wait a while after a season premieres to announce future plans. For instance, Adults Season 1 premiered in May 2025 and wasn’t publicly renewed until the end of October 2025. Considering the bump in critical acclaim from Season 1 to Season 2, the show’s growing star power, and the ending that leaves the door open for much more, we feel confident that FX will renew Adults for Season 3.
