Chip Trayanum was awake, alert and moving his extremities Friday night as he was transported from MetLife Stadium to a local hospital, the Jets announced.

Trayanum, an undrafted rookie, was injured on the final play of the first half when he was run over just after accepting a handoff from Cade Klubnik.

The Jets initially ruled out Trayanum with a neck injury before he was hospitalized.

Trayanum remained on the turf for several minutes as his many teammates knelt nearby. It appeared that a neck brace was applied as he left the field immobilized on a cart.

A healthy Trayanum is a practice-squad candidate after the Jets keep starter Breece Hall, Braelon Allen, Isaiah Davis and return specialist Kene Nwangwu in the backfield.

He was stamping his resume with 12 carries for 38 yards and a touchdown and two catches for 25 yards before the injury.
