Odell Beckham Jr. could breathe a final sigh of relief Sunday evening.

When the 6 p.m. deadline for NFL teams to narrow their rosters to 53 players passed, Beckham was still a member of the New York Giants.

His pursuit of a fairy-tale comeback with the team that drafted him in 2014 is still alive — and becoming more of a reality with each passing day in the run-up to Week 1.

The Giants signed the 33-year-old Beckham, who didn’t play in the NFL last year, this spring with no guarantees he’d have a spot on the roster.
