Odell Beckham Jr. returning to jersey number of his Giants heydey
Everything is now as it was.
A day after Odell Beckham Jr. said there would be “some conversations” about him reclaiming his old jersey, the Giants announced that No. 13 is his.
It’s the number that he wore when he broke out as a superstar during his first stint with the Giants to start his career. He wore it for the five seasons he was with the Giants and his two-plus season tenure with the Browns.
He switched to No. 3 with the Rams, with whom he won a Super Bowl, and kept that number during his brief stints with the Ravens and Dolphins.
Beckham wore No. 3 throughout training camp and the preseason and was still wearing it for practice on Monday after officially making the Giants’ 53-man roster. Jalin Hyatt, who signed back to the practice squad after being part of Sunday’s cuts, was still occupying the No. 13.

But Hyatt changed to No. 81, and Beckham’s full-circle moment is now truly complete.
Giants fans can begin dusting off their old No. 13 Beckham jerseys.
