They’re getting the band back together. 

Trey Wingo will reunite with Merril Hoge, Damien Woody and Mark Schlereth — bringing together the old “NFL Live” crew for a new venture called “The OG Football Show,” Front Office Sports reported Tuesday. 

The quartet will broadcast on YouTube every Monday and recap the four best NFL games from the week’s Sunday slate.

Wingo will serve as the show’s anchor, and the three ex-players will give their analysis. 

The program will debut on Sept. 7, according to the report, and will run through Super Bowl 2027, before going dark in the offseason. 

Wingo had already teased the news a few weeks back in a post on social media, responding to a fan. 

“What if I told you. We were putting the band back together?” he wrote on X and then followed it up with a “stay tuned.” 

The timing of the news of the new show comes weeks after Wingo found himself mixed up with Emmanuel Acho, after the ex-NFL player and analyst said that Ryan Clark was the only reason that “NFL Live” was so successful. 

The comments were made after ESPN laid off Clark during a recent round of company-wide cuts. 

Wingo went back at Acho on social media over the quip and pointed to a graphic that showed the ratings for the show had peaked over a decade ago. 

Wingo had been a big part of ESPN for a number of years before he was let go in 2020 and has remained a relevant voice in the sports media world since his departure from the Worldwide Leader in Sports.
