Georgia’s Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff is getting his Hollywood close-up.

Fresh from meeting with donors in the Hamptons, Ossoff, 39, will be rolling through LA’s West Side for a fundraiser in Brentwood next week, Page Six Hollywood has learned.

The event is on Sept. 10 at the home of Dayna Bochco, the widow of TV icon Steven Bochco, and is being co-hosted by philanthropist Ada Horwich (a power player in the city’s Jewish community), as well as businessman Tom Unterman and his wife Janet, plus filmmaker Jake Kasdan and his wife, singer Inara George, according to an invitation making the rounds.

Tickets to the event start at $500 while co-hosts are required to either raise or give $7,000.

Ossoff, who won the support of various celebrity activists when he first ran (unsuccessfully) for Congress in 2017, is currently leading Republican Rep. Mike Collins 50% to 43% in Georgia’s U.S. Senate race, according to a recent poll.

“Ossoff is really having a moment. A Democrat winning in Georgia — that’s something in itself,” said one political insider.

The insider said that out in the Hamptons, “It’s been presidential speed dating all summer,” with politicos including Ossoff, Rahm Emanuel, Josh Shapiro, JB Pritzker and Andy Beshear all cycling through to meet with power players. 

Ossoff was first elected to the Senate in 2021.

While Ossoff has said he has “zero interest” in running for president in 2028, he has been gaining national attention for his blistering attack on President Trump and his policies in a stump speech that has since gone viral.

In that speech he drew attention to Trump aide Natalie Harp and criticized the president’s handling of the Iran war among other things. One political advisor told Page Six Hollywood that if Ossoff holds his lead and wins the Georgia Senate race by six points the pressure to enter the Democratic presidential primary would be immense.

Early polling shows him well behind the current frontrunners — former Vice President Kamala Harris and California Governor Gavin Newsom — but he is gaining ground. A recent Morning Consult poll shows him with 7% support (compared to Harris’ 24% and Newsom’s 12%) which signifies a sizable 6% increase for Ossoff since May and makes him the only Democratic candidate to post gains in three consecutive polls.

According to the political advisor we spoke to, if Ossoff continues to make inroads in the entertainment industry “it would not be good for Newsom.” Previous Ossoff supporters within the entertainment industry include Debra Messing, John Leguizamo, Kristen Bell, Alyssa Milano.
