Tennis fans are rejoicing that Carlos Alcaraz is healthy enough to compete at the U.S. Open. But the fan Alcaraz might want watching him the most is nowhere to be found.

In July, the 23-year-old Spanish tennis sensation was spotted on a boat along the coastline of Italy with Claudia Canals, a Spanish entrepreneur and digital marketing professional. This convinced many that the two were a couple.

Neither have confirmed that they are in a relationship, but Canals’ social media influence has skyrocketed since being seen alongside Alcaraz.

And she seems to be capitalizing on this during the U.S. Open, as shown by a series of animal-print bikini photos she posted on Instagram on Tuesday.

The post was captioned, “September.”

In several photos, Canals has a menu in front of her that’s from Restaurante Playa Grande, which is in Barcelona. This shows that Canals is not in New York now, assuming the photos and caption were indeed from September.

Alcaraz cruised to an easy first-round win against Roman Safiullin in straight sets on Monday and is facing Portugal’s Jaime Faria on Wednesday.

Granted, Canals is surely busy with her own life and career, so she can’t just follow Alcaraz around wherever he plays. And one would assume that she’ll watch him compete on Wednesday.

Perhaps she’ll appear if Alcaraz makes a deep run in the tournament, which he’s expected to do.
