This week’s new movies on VOD are filled with strong women who find themselves in wild and weird situations. In I Want Your Sex, Olivia Wilde stars as an artist whose new assistant, played by Cooper Hoffman, becomes the sub to her dom, while the new film The Wrong Girls stars Kristen Stewart and Alia Shawkat as best friends who are accidentally given some drugs meant for someone else.

In the new thriller Just Play Dead, Eva Green stars as Nora, a wife grieving the death of her husband Jack… the only thing is, he’s not dead, and his death was faked to claim a life insurance policy. But now that the seed has been planted, Nora thinks maybe killing her husband to take all the money for herself isn’t such a bad idea… Samuel L. Jackson co-stars as Jack.

Directed by Gregg Araki, I Want Your Sex stars Olivia Wilde as a provocative artist named Erika, and Licorice Pizza star Cooper Hoffman plays Erika’s new assistant Elliott. Soon after he starts working for her, Elliott and Erika begin a BDSM-style sexual relationship and Elliott becomes her muse, until he finds himself completely out of her depth. The film is out now on demand.

The Wrong Girls was written by Dylan Meyer and stars Meyer’s wife Kristen Stewart along with Alia Shawkat as best friends Frankie and Molly, two stoners who need to come up with their rent money by the next day, or else. But things devolve quickly when the pair are inadvertently given some experimental psychedelics that change the course of their night. The cast is top-notch; LaKeith Stanfield, Kate McKinnon, Tony Hale and Geena Davis all show up for the fun, and keep an ear out for the voices of Seth Rogen and Kumail Nanjiani, too.
