Los Angeles Lakers coach JJ Redick was an elite sharpshooter during his NBA career. But he doesn’t crack his own top five greatest shooters in NBA history.

Redick joined Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green on his podcast, “The Draymond Green Show,” and was asked to name his five best three-point shooters ever.

“Oh, that’s easy. That’s easy. Steph [Curry] is first. Everybody else is way down the list to me,” Redick said, which Green agreed with.

“In no particular order, the other four, it’s Klay [Thompson], Kyle Korver, Ray Allen, Reggie Miller. To me, those are the guys.”

Until the splash brothers surfaced, both Allen and Miller were put near the top of everyone’s list. So, those four make sense to just about everyone.

But Kyle Korver is a somewhat surprising pick, if only because his career accolades don’t come close to the other four legends on Redick’s list.

True basketball fans know though that Korver was one of the purest shooters of his generation, including one season with the Atlanta Hawks where he shot a staggering 49.2% from three-point range.

Korver finished his career with a 42.9% three-point percentage, which is 10th-best all-time and actually better than Steph Curry’s current 42.2% career three-point percentage.

Korver’s 2,450 career three-pointers made is eighth-most ever. But Paul George is one three away from tying him, and Kevin Durant is less than 100 away from his final tally.

Draymond Green didn’t seem to have any issue with Redick including Korver, as he was nodding his head while the Lakers coach gave his list.

Some other notables that were omitted include Damian Lillard, James Harden, and possibly Redick himself.
