These Giants are different — and Michael Strahan tells The Post why
Michael Strahan, the former Giants defensive end turned TV star, is bullish on his former team’s 2026 prospects under new head coach John Harbaugh.
“I see an underestimated team,’’ the Hall of Famer told The Post recently. “Last year, if you look at the record, it was bad [4-13]. But going into the fourth quarter of a lot of those games — if they’d closed out even half of them — it’s a completely different team.
“Now, I think you have a coach who’s a finisher. As a coach and player, you have to believe you can win, not just want to win. It seemed like they started playing not to lose last year instead of playing to win. But that’s not really on the players, that’s coaching, play calling, situational execution.’’
Strahan said he was “impressed by [quarterback Jaxson] Dart as a rookie with the energy he brought to the team.’’
