Two men were shot and killed when bullets flew at a playground in Brooklyn Friday night, police said.

The victims, a 35-year-old and a 33-year-old, were in Howard Playground at Mother Gaston Boulevard and Glenmore Avenue in Brownsville when gunshots rang out around 10:30 p.m., according to cops.

Nearby cops heard the burst of gunshots and saw multiple people running, police said.

When they arrived at the playground, they found the 35-year-old shot in the chest and ankle and the 33-year-old struck in the neck.

EMS rushed the younger man to Interfaith Medical Center and the older man to One Brooklyn Health-Brooklyn University Hospital Medical Center.

Neither one of them survived, police said.

Release of their identities was pending family notification, cops said.

There were no immediate arrests and cops were canvassing the area for video.

The playground is located in the Howard Houses, a New York City Housing Authority development.

Shootings in the 73rd Precinct — which covers the playground — are down 27% to eight from 11 so far this year, over the same period in 2025, according to NYPD data online.
