The U.S. Open has a new women’s singles champion.

Elena Rybakina knocked off two-time defending champion and No. 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka on Saturday in the final with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 win.

Rybakina, who started this year with an Australian Open win, bookends the campaign with her second Grand Slam of 2026. She now just needs to win the French Open to complete the career Grand Slam.
