The Miami Dolphins and Las Vegas Raiders both underwent significant roster changes this year. Now, those major shifts are going to be put to the test for the first time of the NFL regular season.

Although Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza was expected to lead the charge for the Raiders, head coach Klint Kubiak is starting veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins instead. Mendoza remains in the No. 2 slot on the depth chart, followed by Aidan O’ Connell.

Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins are without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (now on the Atlanta Falcons) and head coach Mike McDaniel (now the offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Chargers).

Time will tell whether quarterback Malik Willis and star running back De’Von Achane will be able to lead the Florida team to success.
