‘Below Deck’ alum Gael Cameron makes raw confession about Nathan Gallagher split, domestic violence arrest

“Below Deck Mediterranean” alum Gael Cameron admitted she lost her “spark” after her ex-boyfriend Nathan Gallagher’s domestic violence incident.

“You handled it so well. No, I didn’t,” she wrote in an Instagram post Saturday. “I lost myself, I lost my spark. I didn’t handle it.”

She continued, “My best friend did. She sat with me, let me talk about the same thing 50,000 times.”

Gallagher, who also starred on the Bravo show, was arrested on domestic violence charges in Australia in December 2025.

He allegedly attacked a 29-year-old woman, later revealed to be Cameron, at an apartment complex in Sydney, according to a police report obtained by Rolling Stone.

Gallagher was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent and common assault.

Police have since been ordered to arrest Gallagher and bring him to court for the alleged assault last year. He also faces an assault charge from an incident that took place four years ago.

Cameron — who shares 1-year-old son Kayden with Gallagher — broke her silence on her ex’s arrest earlier this month, thanking fans for their support.

“Hey guys, I just want to say thank you so much for the support you’ve shown for Kayden and I,” Cameron wrote via her Instagram Stories.

“It’s been a tough season, but I have been using the past few months to quietly heal and rebuild for little man and myself,” the 30-year-old added.

As for Gallagher, the Bravolebrity admitted he’s not “perfect” when asked about the incident.

“I’m not claiming I was perfect. I wasn’t,” he told Rolling Stone in August while confirming his breakup with Cameron. “I made mistakes and I will take responsibility for my own actions.”

He added, “But I will not accept being portrayed solely through one person’s account of a relationship when there is another side and evidence relating to it.”

Gallagher argued that it’s not “fair for one version of events to be presented publicly as though it is the complete story.” He also claimed to have “evidence that may materially contradict or provide significant context to that account.”

Gallagher has been a cast member on the “Below Deck” spinoff for the past three seasons, including its current 11th installment. Production of the current season wrapped in December 2025 — before Gallagher’s current legal trouble.

After his arrest made headlines, Bravo officially cut ties with Gallagher.

“Bravo does not plan on working with Nathan in the future,” a spokesperson for the network told Page Six on Sept. 4.

Page Six learned that Bravo has no plans to edit him out of this season’s footage.
