Desperate search underway for missing energy exec Matt Pawlowski who vanished paddleboarding in Florida
A desperate search is underway for an energy executive who went missing while paddleboarding in Florida.
Matt Pawlowski, 48, was last seen around 9 a.m. Monday four miles east of Jupiter Beach on a 14-foot lime green and yellow paddleboard.
The U.S. Coast Guard deployed air and surface crews in the search, which was based on Pawlowski’s last-known position, drift patterns and possible routes.
“He was reportedly wearing a white hat, orange shirt, and gray shorts,” the U.S. Coast Guard said in a statement.
Pawlowski’s LinkedIn profile says he is the Vice President – Head of Execution at NextEra Energy Transmission — and sources confirmed to WPBF 25 News he works at the company.
He was reported missing by his family after he did not return from the paddleboarding trip, according to CBS 12 News.
