Pregnant newlywed found dead after Venice boat crash that killed husband — her family says things ‘don’t add up’

The pregnant newlywed who was lost in the water after a Venice boating crash that killed her husband has been found dead – as her family claims the young couple had a furious bust-up the night before the crash.

Gabriella Querino’s body was found in a Venice lagoon Tuesday, just over a mile from where her fisherman husband Sean Michieli’s body was found Saturday morning, soon after their boat sank after a collision with a water taxi, the Italian outlet Il Giornale D’Italia reported.

A nautical homicide investigation is underway, and Querino’s family raised suspicions, saying that “there are too many silences and things that don’t add up.”

Querino, 26, and Michieli, 25, had only been married for three months — but they almost split the night before the deadfly crash, the new bride’s family said.

Querino and Michieli had a “serious argument” the night before the ill-fated fishing trip — and the bride told her family she was packing her bags ready to leave.

Querino, who moved to Italy two years ago, then texted her mom, Gisele Elorriaga, to say the disagreement had been resolved and they were heading out for dinner.

“I’ll tell you tomorrow,” Querino reportedly messaged her mom, who lives in Brazil.

But that was unusual as Querino’s family said the recently married bride preferred to call rather than text.

“She video-called every day, no matter what happened,” her family said.

“She hated communicating via texts, she never did.”

Elloriaga arrived in Italy on Tuesday night – hours after the body was found.

“I lost two children,” the devastated mom told Gazzettino.

Michieli’s cause of death hasn’t been released, with an autopsy set for next week.

He was hospitalized with serious injuries after being pulled from the water before he died.

Michieli’s sister, Chantal, has since broken her silence online, writing, “I would give anything to have just one more minute with you.

Authorities are looking to speak to two American tourists who were on board the water taxi at the time of the collision.
