A phony physician in upscale Riverdale has been charged with homicide after he injected a customer with trendy anti-aging molecules and she died, authorities said.

Unlicensed spa operator Luis Rojas Cabrera, 55, recently had the charges against him upgraded in the killing of Elizabeth Baron, 27, who he injected with a treatment of NAD+ at his Bereshit Lifestyle Center in the Upper Manhattan enclave before she went into cardiac arrest and died in July, the NYPD said. 

Famous models Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber once publicly crowed that they were devotees of the treatment, helping to fuel the craze over it.

Rojas Cabrera – who is not licensed to practice medicine in the US – was initially arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and unauthorized practice of a profession by prosecutors when he was arraigned in Bronx Criminal Court on July 20. 

Rojas Cabrera is not licensed in the United States, although he is in the Dominica Republican, and has two prior arrests, included for trying to bring medical supplies into the country. 

The accused quack physician was released without bail in July, but the recent results of Baron’s autopsy ultimately determined he be charged with homicide in Baron’s death, officials said.

Sources said additional charges against Rojas Cabrera could be coming, too.
