A 24-year-old man was fatally shot during a wild shooting inside a Brooklyn park Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The victim was shot in the torso a little after 2 p.m. near Cathedral Place and McLaughlin Park in downtown Brooklyn, cops said.

EMS rushed him in critical condition to Methodist Hospital, where he later died, according to authorities. 

The victim was not identified as of Tuesday night, though sources said he had one prior arrest for criminal possession of a weapon in 2025.

No arrests have been made as cops probe what sparked the gunfire.
