Heavy-metal icons are hijacking a legendary Los Angeles bar this weekend for the ultimate pre-show bash — and metalheads can get in for free.

Iron Maiden is bringing its traveling Eddie’s Dive Bar pop-up to the Rainbow Bar & Grill in West Hollywood ahead of the band’s two massive Los Angeles concerts Friday and Sunday.

The free event gives fans a chance to get into the Iron Maiden spirit before the band takes the stage at BMO Stadium, with exclusive merchandise, food, drinks and a special new beer on tap.

The big attraction is Trooper West Coast IPA, a limited-edition collaboration between Iron Maiden’s Trooper beer brand and Lagunitas Brewing Company.

The West Coast IPA, released in July, is the first West Coast-style beer released under the Trooper label. It was brewed with Krush hops and is designed to pack the aromatic, hop-forward punch associated with the style.

And fans will have a special guide behind the bar.

Iron Maiden superfan Lara Mirinjian, who also serves as Lagunitas’ first-ever Beer Roadie, will be on hand pouring the limited-edition brew.

The Beer Roadie gig is a temporary brand ambassador role created by Lagunitas around the release of the Trooper West Coast IPA.

For Maiden fans, the timing couldn’t be better.

The band is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary with the Run For Your Lives World Tour, which kicked off May 23 in Athens, Greece.

The Los Angeles stop is part of a sprawling world tour that will take the band from California to San Antonio before heading into Mexico and South America. The group will then travel through Asia before wrapping up the tour in Yokohama, Japan, in November.

The 50th-anniversary celebration has also hit the big screen.

In May, the band released “Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition,” a documentary chronicling its five-decade run. The film features interviews with the band and other notable figures discussing Maiden’s influence on music, culture and generations of fans.

Eddie’s Dive Bar will set up at the Rainbow Bar & Grill ahead of the first Los Angeles show, giving metalheads a chance to grab limited-edition gear, sample the new beer and soak up some Iron Maiden atmosphere before the main event.
