Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took the podium at the UN General Assembly and urged any “moral cowards” who hadn’t walked out on him yet to vacate their seats, too, because he was about to blister those hypocrites who support the Hamas death cult while condemning a small, beleaguered nation fighting for its survival.

But you can’t blame the delegations that fled the hall, because Bibi delivered irreducible, embarrassing truths that would have left them red-faced and tongue-tied.

The Jewish state’s leader offered no cringing apologies for fighting to maintain the survival of the region’s only democracy, and the only country that promises sanctuary to the Jewish people.

He boldly told the nations of the world, “You’re welcome” for launching an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. “If we hadn’t done it,” he explained, “we’d all be dead.”

Netanyahu hammered the point that Israel acts vigorously in its own defense because, simply, “we have no other choice.”

This truth reflects a blunt reality that most people and nations never have to face, of living day-to-day in the shadow of an implacable, irrational enemy devoted to your extinction.

Hamas enthusiasts in the West — painfully stupid or naïve — have turned reality inside-out, pretending that gangs of murderous extremists are the real victims.

Fed on Soviet-era lies about Zionism as an imperial, colonial project, these suckers call Israel’s just war a “genocide,” which Netanyahu rightly called “the greatest lie of the century.”

As promised, he slammed Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a pampered radical whose life of luxury has allowed him, his wife and his friends to indulge beliefs that only the cosseted and coddled can afford.

Bibi was unsparing in commending President Donald Trump’s “bold leadership” in the US-Israeli joint “battle against the barbarians” of the Iranian regime, noting that Trump has known for decades that the mullahs’ “mad fantasies” of global jihad threaten civilization itself.

The delegations that walked out on Netanyahu are charlatans; nearly all took their seats just 10 minutes before the Israeli came on stage, purely to make a spectacle of marching off.

The United Nations operates lives in a bubble of unreal smugness; Bibi popped that bubble.

No wonder they ran away.
