If you’re looking for something new to watch at home this weekend, there are tons of great titles arriving on demand this week. Horror master Eli Roth’s new slasher flick Ice Cream Man is one of the many new movies on VOD right now, along with the comedy Spa Weekend, which unites Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau and Anna Faris for a girls’ trip.

Another new ensemble comedy worth checking out is Idiots (originally titled The Shitheads), which stars Dave Franco and O’Shea Jackson Jr. as two ne’er-do-wells hired to escort the screw-up son of a wealthy businessman (Mason Thames) to rehab, but it all goes very badly.

Horror director Eli Roth’s latest movie, Ice Cream Man, stars Ari Millen (Orphan Black) as the driver of an ice cream truck whose treats brainwash the children eating them, turning them into killers. A riff on films like Terrifier, the movie is gory and gruesome (and became even more terrifying after Roth admitted to using generative AI for some of the film’s visuals).

In Spa Weekend, Leslie Mann, Michelle Buteau and Anna Faris star as childhood friends who book a nice, chill weekend away, and try to keep things quiet so the chaotic fourth member of their friend group, played by Isla Fisher, doesn’t find out. Of course, she does find out, and yeah, chaos ensues.
