San Francisco enters Sunday riding high at 2–0 following a Week 1 opener in Australia ad a commanding 35–13 victory over the Miami Dolphins in their home opener last weekend.

The team will also lean on on Christian McCaffrey and a suffocating defense that has allowed just 10 points per game through two weeks. They will, however, be without star Nick Bosa, who suffered a calf injury in practice this week.

Niners head coach Kyle Shanahan will face his former assistant Mike LaFleur for the first time this week, too; the Cardinals hired LaFleur as head coach ahead of this season. LaFleur previously worked under Shanahan from 2017 through 2020.

On the flip side, the Cardinals arrive at 1-1 after a frustrating 31-7 divisional loss against Seattle in Week 2. Arizona looks to reset behind Jacoby Brissett and bounce back by relying on tight end Trey McBride and an aggressive front seven to generate takeaways.
