Actress Monet Mazur scared off a trio of masked burglary suspects after spotting them on security cameras trying to break into her Hollywood Hills home late Saturday.

At least three people dressed in black clothing and ski masks reportedly approached Mazur’s hillside residence at around 11:30 p.m. while the actress was inside with her dog.

Mazur spotted the suspects on her security cameras and confronted them, prompting the group to flee before they could get inside the home.

The suspects reportedly took off from the property after realizing the house was occupied.

LAPD responded to the Hollywood Hills residence and searched the surrounding area, including by helicopter, but no suspects were found.

Footage from the scene shows Mazur outside her home with her dog as LAPD officers investigate the attempted break-in.

A police helicopter can also be seen searching the surrounding hillside. Pepper spray was visible on the doormat outside the residence following the attempted burglary.

Mazur’s home is a roughly two-bedroom, 1.5-million-plus property perched in the Hollywood Hills with views overlooking LA, according to property information provided for the incident.

The attempted break-in comes amid continued concerns over residential burglaries in Los Angeles, particularly in affluent hillside neighborhoods where homes can offer sweeping views while remaining tucked away from major streets.

Mazur, 49, is an actress, model and former musician who has worked in Hollywood since the early 1990s.

She is best known for playing Laura Fine-Baker on The CW’s football drama All American. Her other acting credits include Blow, Torque, Monster-in-Law, 40 Days and 40 Nights and The House Bunny.

She has also appeared in television shows including Castle, CSI: Miami and NCIS: Los Angeles, and worked as a producer on Snatch.

Mazur began her career as a model, including work for brands such as Gap, before moving into film and television.

She is the daughter of artist Ruby Mazur and has also appeared in music videos during her career. The actress has continued working in entertainment while also serving on the board of Watts Community Core.

LAPD Hollywood handled the response to Saturday night’s attempted break-in. No arrests had been reported in connection with the incident as of Sunday.
