Ever since Lanterns debuted on HBO and HBO Max back in August, fans of the show have been wondering who murdered the original Green Lantern from Earth, Hal Jordan. Could it be John Stewart (Aaron Pierre), his trainee/rival? Did his 2016 era crush and 2026 girlfriend Sheriff Kerry (Kelly Macdonald) kill him in an act of long-planned revenge? We don’t know if HBO plans on ordering another season of Lanterns or if the story is intended to be a limited series.
