A Polish news station captured the harrowing moment a driver plowed into a teenage girl on an e-bike — as the reporter was covering a seperate fatal car crash.

The 14-year-old was riding along the side of a country road in Kościerzyna when the motorist slammed into her, shattering the car’s windshield and sending her tumbling through the air, according to the US Sun.

Reporter Miłosz Sieliwończyk was in the middle of a live broadcast covering a separate fatal car crash for TVP.info — in which a young boy was tragically killed — when the terrifying wreck unfolded right behind him.

“At one point, I heard a bang behind me and the operator’s shout: ‘Oh Jesus!’” he said.

“When I turned around, I saw a car driving away with a shattered windshield and a child lying there.”

As the driver sped off, Sieliwończyk ordered his cameraman to zoom in on the vehicle’s license plate to report it to police before walking over to assist the 14-year-old.

“We approached the girl. She was unable to stand. I saw blood stains on the scooter,” said Sieliwończyk. 

First responders reached scene within three minutes and the injured teen asked to call her mother, who arrived on a bicycle a few minutes later.

The driver, who was reportedly in a state of shock, returned to the scene a few moments later, according to the US Sun. 

“He must have been in shock too, because he got out of the car and asked if something had happened,” Sieliwończyk said.
