Preliminary 3.8-magnitude earthquake rattles two SoCal counties

A 3.8-magnitude earthquake rattled Ventura County Tuesday night, according to the US Geological Survey.
The temblor struck at 8:00 p.m. roughly 2.5 miles southeast of Piru, the USGS reported.
The quake hit at a depth of nearly 13 miles, according to the agency.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
