A new season of Slow Horses means a slew of new cast members and characters to meet. And the stacked list of Season 6 players just keeps growing longer.

As Jackson Lamb (Sir Gary Oldman) and Slough House’s misfit MI5 agents learned their lives were in danger in the Season 6 premiere, Slow Horses introduced several fresh and familiar faces, including news station owner Damien Cantor (Harry Lloyd), right-wing politician Peter Judd (Samuel West), and two assassins — Kyle Soller’s Jim and MyAnna Buring’s Jane — on a mission to take down Slow Horses past and present. But it’s not until Season 6, Episode 3 that we officially meet Reese Nesmith, one of the show’s most compelling new characters.

Who Is Reese Nesmith In Slow Horses Season 6?

As DECIDER noted in our full Slow Horses Season 6 review, “[the series] finds its newest star in Lenny Rush, who plays Reece Nesmith, a young witness to a murder who will slay viewers with his unexpected sass and expert comedic timing.”

In Episode 2, we caught a blurry glimpse of Reese fleeing the scene while his father was being murdered by Frank Harkness (Hugo Weaving), and the Slow Horses saw him riding away on his scooter via CCTV footage.

In Episode 3, Lamb and Roddy (Christopher Chung) finally located Reese and took him into “protective custody,” aka the Game Zone arcade, where Lamb interrogated him about who might want his father dead. Reese had quite the ‘tude and effortlessly meshed with Lamb (there may be a fart off in store), while hilariously challenging and clashing with Ho. So needless to say, we can’t wait to see more of him.

Who Plays Reese Nesmith In Slow Horses Season 6? Meet Lenny Rush

As noted, Reese Nesmith in Slow Horses is played by Lenny Rush, a 17-year-old British actor who won a BAFTA for his role in Am I Being Unreasonable? Prior to Slow Horses, Rush also appeared in a variety of television shows and films, including A Christmas Carol (2019), The Dumping Ground, Enola Holmes 2, Dodger, Renegade Nell, Doctor Who, A Woman of Substance, and more. He’s set to star as Dobby in the upcoming Harry Potter series from HBO, as well.
