Titans vs. Ravens prediction, props: Derrick Henry poised for monster Week 4 game against former team

The Ravens enter Week 4 as 11.5-point favorites after a thrilling, down-to-the-wire win over the Cowboys in Rio de Janeiro last week.

Jesse Minter’s club is seeking its first home win of the season after being upset by the Saints in Week 2, and the Ravens will host the winless Tennessee Titans.

Robert Saleh and the Titans have dug themselves into an early 0-3 hole.

With a plethora of injuries to an already depleted offensive line, their season outlook is looking extremely murky.

Compounding their troubles, the defense now has to contain Derrick Henry, who comes into Sunday tied atop the league leaderboard with six rushing touchdowns.

Titans vs. Ravens prediction, best bet

Tennessee’s defense has turned in two respectable performances in Weeks 2 and 3.

They intercepted Jalen Hurts twice in a close, one-possession Week 2 loss. Last week, the Titans held the Giants to 12 points, no touchdowns and 238 total yards at MetLife Stadium.

The issue has been Cam Ward and Brian Daboll’s offense has struggled to build anything meaningful, generating only 12.3 points per game, which ranks 30th league-wide.

Ward has yet to throw for 200 yards or more this season and had a chance to seal the game for the Titans with a red-zone pass against the Giants, but Jevon Holland intercepted it in the waning moments of Tennessee’s 12-7 loss.

He’ll look to get going in Baltimore, against Anthony Weaver and Minter’s 3-4 scheme, which features the versatile Kyle Hamilton and Roquan Smith.

Baltimore allowed a season-worst 415 total yards to Dak Prescott and the Cowboys in Week 3.

Ward should have plenty of opportunities, and they’ll need as many points as possible with Lamar Jackson and Henry on the other side.

Betting on the NFL?

Jackson and the Ravens’ offense rank third in offensive DVOA (33.8%), including first in rushing and fifth in passing DVOA.

Zay Flowers enters leading the NFL in yards per route run, while Henry continues to shake off Father Time, averaging 4.6 yards per carry.

I think the Ravens have the offensive firepower to cover a slight alternate of their team total. I also like Henry to show out against his former team.
