Taylor Swift skips watching Travis Kelce, Chiefs beat Raiders in Las Vegas
Taylor Swift did not make the trip to Las Vegas for the Chiefs’ divisional contest against the Raiders after her surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live” in New York.
Kansas City won the game 30-27, but saw receiver Tyquan Thornton suffer a gruesome ankle injury.
Husband Travis Kelce had just two catches for 15 yards as Swift was not shown on the broadcast
Swift crashed host Dakota Johnson’s monologue on “SNL” and looked stunning in an off-shoulder mini dress in plaid by SIMKHAI.
The pair, who are close friends, joked about Johnson’s personal life and how she’s been staying at Swift’s New York City apartment while spending time with musician Machine Gun Kelly.
Johnson, along with fellow actor Colin Farrell, star as the main characters in Swift’s music video for Swift’s song, “Patient Zero,” which premiered during the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 27.
Swift did not attend the Chiefs’ 24-10 road win against the Miami Dolphins on the same day.
The 14-time Grammy winner was in Kelce’s suite at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs beat the Broncos 31-10 in Week 1, followed by a 33-30 overtime victory against the Colts in Week 2.
Swift is fresh off the release of her new music, “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore,” a 4-song extension of her hit 2025 album, “The Life of a Showgirl” — which includes “Patient Zero.”
It’s been a whirlwind year for Swift and Kelce.
The pair were married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, nearly a year after getting engaged.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement last August, when the three-time Super Bowl champ proposed to the “Cleveland” singer in the backyard at his Missouri home.
