All of the viral Amazon products we’re seeing on Instagram, on sale for Prime Day
If you’re anything like me, you’ll scroll on Instagram and TikTok not for funny memes or comedic skits (although, from time to time, you’ll see me chuckling), but for the practical “what to buy” videos that have me saving content left and right.
It seems like *everyone* has something to sell — and it seems like *everything* is an ad.
Well, with six years of commerce reporting experience under my belt, I know what to buy and avoid. I know what’s really worth the hype (Cozy Earth sheets, and I’ll leave it at that) and what’s a better alternative for less (my Shark FlexStyle and Dyson Airwrap comparison may surprise you).
Now, with Amazon Prime Big Deal Days kicking off on Oct. 6 and running through Oct. 7, the entire litter on Amazon may seem worth it, but just because it’s discounted doesn’t make it great.
Ahead, I pulled together my expertise, knack for finding the best hidden gems on Amazon and price-checking analytical brain to round up the most viral finds that are worth your purchase.
After all, why opt for a subpar vacuum when you can grab one with multiple attachments and a chic design? Leave it to me to spotlight all the practical items — ones you truly need and others that will receive compliments from everyone around you.
I have yet to see these wall sconces off the radar. In my house, I purchased a set of similar wall sconces because they add a touch of character to any room — no electrician required. They look elegant and as if they cost a few hundred dollars, but really, they’re $50 on Amazon.

OK. I’ll admit it. I was influenced and I purchased this unbelievably comfy chair for my home office. As someone with upper body pain, this fluffy seater is supportive, comes with an integrated footrest and has armrests that fold completely over, so you can sit a million different ways at your desk while typing away (guilty).

Short on bathroom space? This two-in one medicine cabinet and laundry hamper storage is a nifty piece that adds much-needed room for your skincare and other bathroom essentials. For only $100 this Prime Day, I’d snag it.

Prime Day is a *really* good excuse to upgrade your cooking essentials, and this $20 aesthetically pleasing knife set is a rust-proof option with more than 6,000 rave reviews. They look good and work great — what’s not to love?

As someone with a side-by-side washer and dryer, I truthfully don’t know how I’d survive laundry days (yes, multiple, because I still don’t understand how everything piles up so quickly!) without this countertop. I added it as a last-minute wishlist item on my bridal registry and it’s one of the most useful items in my house. It looks chic and is on a great Prime Day discount.

Free People for less? This $15 viral jumpsuit is yours for the taking, available in a number of colors and a surefire wardrobe staple to dress up or down.

Do you need a spin scrubber? Short answer: no, but it makes grimy or hard-to-reach areas (think: shower tile) a bit better, especially if you’re not outsourcing your weekend cleaning chore to a routine service. With plenty of attachments, you’ll find yourself reaching for this on the regular.

After using the Ninja Crispi for a few weeks, I’m hooked. I’m all about nontoxic living — plastic, no thanks — and this is the only air fryer I’ll use because of its glass design. Leftovers can easily be stored in that same glass container, giving me the time I’d use cleaning dishes back. Most importantly, it crisps beautifully.

Anthro vibes? Yes, please! I’m about to order this in every color because it doesn’t look like something that came off Amazon. It looks designer, Bloomingdale’s-sold and completely trending among Instagram fashion creators on my page. It’s a yes from me.

Under-cabinet lights have been a game-changing purchase for my kitchen, and I’m a firm believer everyone should have them. They take your kitchen to the next level and make your space look extra beautiful when you’re hosting.

Holy cuteness. I don’t really need another jacket, but I may stand corrected after spotting this jacket. The brand is one of the best for affordable yet quality outerwear on Amazon and I’m obsessed with this scalloped detailing. The jacket makes the outfit here, for sure.
Your Prime Big Deal Days FAQs, answered
What is Prime Big Deal Days and when is it?
Prime Big Deal Days — fondly known as October Prime Day — is Amazon’s biggest fall sale, offering massive discounts before the holiday rush of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. October Prime Day runs from Tuesday, Oct. 6 to Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026.
