Boy, 15, shot dead by stray bullet outside NYC housing complex: cops, sources

A 15-year-old boy was fatally shot and a NYCHA worker wounded by a stray bullet in a Wednesday evening burst of violence on the grounds of a Harlem housing complex, cops and sources said. 

Jihad Pack took a bullet to the stomach around 6:20 p.m. in the rear of the King Towers building on West 115th Street near Malcolm X Boulevard where he lived, according to police. 

The gravely injured teen was rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he later succumbed to his injuries, authorities said.

A 57-year-old man – who law enforcement sources identified as a worker for the New York City Housing Authority – was shot in the right hand during the fracas, police said. 

He was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, cops said. 

Another 15-year-old boy was taken into custody at the scene, but it wasn’t immediately clear if he was the shooter, according to the sources.
