Robert Wagner shares rare pic with Natalie Wood’s lookalike daughter Natasha

Robert Wagner posted a rare snap with the late Natalie Wood’s eldest daughter, Natasha, who looks strikingly like the iconic actress.

The “Austin Powers” star, 96, Instagrammed the pic in honor of Natasha’s 56th birthday on Sept. 29. Natasha, sporting a brunette bob with bangs, grins at the camera while seated next to Wagner at a restaurant.

The legendary actor also flashed a smile, wearing a black suit jacket and a black shirt underneath.

“Please join me in wishing a very Happy Birthday to my wonderful daughter, Natasha,” he wrote. “Jill [Wagner’s wife] and I are so proud of the woman you are and the joy, laughter, and love you bring into our lives. We love you and wish you the happiest of birthdays.”

Wood welcomed Natasha with her ex-husband, British producer Richard Gregson, in 1970, and she was later legally adopted by Wagner.

Wagner and Wood first married in 1957, but divorced in 1962, then got back together and remarried in 1972.

The couple shared daughter Courtney, 52, and Wagner is also a dad to daughter Katie, 62, from his second marriage to actress Marion Marshall.

He married actress Jill St. John in 1990, after Wood died in 1981.

Wood tragically died at age 43 when she drowned while spending time with Wagner and actor Christopher Walken on Wagner’s yacht.

The “West Side Story” star’s death was initially ruled an accident, but her death certificate was amended in 2012 to change her cause of death from drowning to “drowning and other undetermined factors.”

Detective Ralph Hernandez declared Wagner a person of interest in 2018 after interviewing witnesses who claimed the actress had been arguing with her husband at the edge of their boat before she disappeared.

But in May 2022, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department cleared the actor in its reopened investigation into Wood’s death.

“All leads in the Natalie Wood case have been exhausted, and the case remains an open, unsolved case,” Lt. Hugo Reynaga told Page Six at the time.

“If additional leads surface in the future, which have not already been investigated, the case will be reassigned to a detective to investigate the new leads,” his statement continued.

Wood’s sister, Lana Wood, told The Post in 2021 that she always believed Wagner was responsible for Wood’s death.

“I don’t believe it was premeditated,” Lana said. “But that doesn’t mean I don’t think he did it. Of course he did!”

Natasha was just 11 years old when her mother died, but she told the Daily Mail last month that she had support from both her biological dad and her stepfather during the critical time.

‘Luckily I had these two men, Daddy Gregson and Daddy Wagner, who came together and rose to the occasion and completely put me first,” she reflected.

“They got me into therapy right away and I had that same amazing therapist here in Beverly Hills until my 20s,” she added.
