Iowa comes into tonight’s game as the 20th-ranked team in the nation, and they have some very interesting statistics behind their squad. Defensively, they are one of the best in the nation.

• Iowa is ranked 1st in the Big Ten and 8th in the nation in points allowed per game at 12.6.
• They are 10th in the nation with 288.6 yards allowed per game.
• Their red zone defense is a bit lower, allowing scores on 71.4% of attempts, which is still #2 in the Big Ten, but 18th in the nation.

On offense, the team leaves a bit to be desired.

• The Hawkeyes are #27 in the nation in rushing offense at 180.2 yards per game.
• With 29.0 points per game, their offense ranks 75th in the nation and 11th in the Big Ten.
• The offense has racked up 390.8 yards per game, which is good for 48th nationally and 9th in their conference.

Washington is not ranked, but they aren’t an opponent to take lightly. For the season, they are 3-2.

• The Huskies are allowing just 18.4 points per game, which is good for 37th in the nation, but just 8th in the Big Ten.
• They are allowing opponents to get 300.5 yards per game, which is sixth in the conference, but 25th in the nation.

Offensively, the team has put together a really strong passing game.

• Their passing game has generated 271.4 yards per game, ranked sixth in the Big Ten and 44th in the nation.
• Their offense hasn’t scored all that many points per game, though. They are at 26.6 points per game, which is 89th in the nation and just 13th in the Big Ten.

Iowa, on paper, looks like they are the better team. However, Washington is the favorite and is hosting the game. Which side are you taking? Put down $20 on Fanatics Sportsbook to earn $350 in FanCash using promo code FOXNEWS350.
