He then held all of the stolen items in his hands and tried to flee, but his skateboard didn’t cooperate with him. Marino hit two vehicles, parked parallel to each other, before falling to the ground, the video shows.

A Vacaville resident saw some suspicious individuals on scooters in her neighborhood and tried to confront them, but they took off, and a car was heard speeding away, authorities said. She quickly alerted the cops.

“An officer checked the area and found a large pipe wrench lying in the roadway,” the Vacaville police department said.

Moments later, a community service officer responded to the report of tools stolen from a nearby work vehicle. The preliminary investigation into the theft revealed that Marino had been on probation and was on search terms.

Police officers recovered a Milwaukee portable band saw, a Milwaukee Sawzall, “along with additional property believed to be stolen.”

Marino was booked into the Solano County Jail on multiple felony charges related to theft, conspiracy, and violation of probation.
