Selena Gomez sparkles in a pair of custom Prada dresses for Rare Impact Fund Gala
Selena Gomez is in rare form.
The “Only Murders in the Building” star, 34, hosted her fourth annual Rare Impact Fund Benefit in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, doubling up on custom Prada looks over the course of the evening.
She arrived in a cherry-red satin dress with a curved, strapless neckline, a draped peplum and all-over beading, plus matching crimson pumps. Inside the event, she switched to a shimmering champagne column gown.
Stylist Erin Walsh accessorized the red look with $15,600 Bucherer Fine Jewellery curved stud earrings, each set with more than 80 baguette- and brilliant-cut diamonds. Gomez added diamond rings on both hands, along with her marquise engagement ring from husband Benny Blanco, who was in attendance at the event.
By the time Gomez took the podium to speak about the nonprofit’s youth mental health work, she had changed into her second look, which was embroidered with multicolor crystals and sequins and trimmed in swinging silver fringe.
Bucherer’s shoulder-grazing Inner Fire earrings, set with 12.22 carats of diamonds, mirrored the fringe of the dress.
It wasn’t the first fairy-tale moment Prada has given Gomez; the brand made the Cinderella-inspired baby blue gown she wore to the 2025 Golden Globes. The Italian house also outfitted her for a Rare Beauty launch party in April in a cotton-candy pink satin minidress.
For Wednesday’s benefit, hairstylist Renato Campora slicked Gomez’s center-parted hair at the front and let it fall into soft waves down her back. Makeup artist Hung Vanngo gave her a smoky eye and glossy nude lip, and manicurist Tom Bachik painted her nails in Olive & June’s SC, a deep Bordeaux jelly red.
On the carpet, Gomez shared one small daily habit for supporting mental health. “A small thing you should do a day — I would suggest feeling all the feelings you need to feel, and then go bowling or something after so you can have a good time,” she said.
Comedian Sean Hayes emceed the night at the Hollywood Palladium, where Leon Bridges and Bella Kay performed for a crowd that included Blanco, Katy Perry, America Ferrera and Shay Mitchell.
She also staged a special moment with her “Only Murders in the Building” co-star, tearfully announcing a special new award dedicated to his late daughter, who died by suicide earlier this year.
