It’s unknown what was said between the two, but Cullen put his hand on the Chief star’s shoulder, to which he immediately moved it off him, igniting a screaming match between the two sides.

CBS sideline reporter Melanie Collins was detailing the event after it happened, and color commentator Trent Green, who used to play quarterback for Kansas City, shared that Jones and Cullen “have a great relationship. I just don’t think Chris liked that fact that he put his hand on his shoulder.”

Green went on to say that Jones should’ve “asked him politely to take it off.”

Through Jones’ 11-year career, Cullen has been his head coach since 2022 and has helped him earn All-Pro honors in 2022 and 2023.

During Cullen’s first three years with Kansas City, they appeared in three consecutive Super Bowls and won two of them..

Since the interaction between Jones and Cullen, Kansas City’s defense has been causing havoc in the Los Angeles backfield, sacking quarterback Justin Herbert two times and holding the Chargers for six points through the first three quarters of the game, and maintain a 19-6 lead in the fourth quarter.
