Phlur’s fan-favorite Heavy Cream is available in two new forms — Shop the new launch now
Phlur is giving the people what they want.
The trendy, Post Wanted-loved fragrance brand launched two new products today, Oct. 20, inspired by one of its bestsellers.
You’ve heard of Heavy Cream Body Mist; get ready to meet Heavy Cream Eau de Parfum and Heavy Cream Whipped Body Butter.
That’s right: Phlur took one of its fan-favorite fragrances and bottled it up in two new formats.
“For those who crave more from what they love, Heavy Cream Eau de Parfum is about amplifying that indulgence,” said Heavy Cream perfumer Gil Clavien. “I wanted to deepen the addictive quality of the original, adding richness, warmth and a more textured sensuality that lingers on skin.”
Despite the name, Heavy Cream is actually not a heavy scent. It’s airy and creamy, thanks to vanilla mousse and musk, but it also has a bit of zing to it from a sparkling lemon top note.
The body mist has already racked up thousands of five-star reviews, with one shopper raving, “It is literally my favorite smell in the whole world.”
Another five-star review describes the fragrance perfectly as a “smooth, grown-up gourmand with a little warmth rather than a loud, candy-sweet vanilla.”
I tried the new Heavy Cream products ahead of launch and as a gourmand-lover, I can confidently say that both the eau de parfum and body butter will be entering my permanent rotation.
Basically, Heavy Cream is the decadent, crave-worthy gourmand you’ve been waiting for, and now, you can create an entire fragrance routine around the scent.
The brand new Heavy Cream Eau de Parfum has top notes of sparkling lemon and vanilla mousse; heart notes of orange flower, white orchid and tiare flower; and base notes of amber woods and creamy musk.

Phlur’s whipped body butters are formulated with shea and cocoa butters to lock in moisture and glycerin to support a healthy skin barrier. It also uses squalane to soften skin, with prickly pear and green tea for antioxidant protection.
The Heavy Cream Body Butter has similar scent notes, with a few additions: top notes of lemon sugar, marshmallow and orange, heart notes of jasmine blossom, coconut cream and vegan ambrettolide, and base notes of vanilla mousse, salted caramel and whipped cream.

This is the one that started it all. In my experience, Phlur’s body mists seem to linger forever, and there isn’t a better scent to keep around. The body mist’s notes look similar to the body butter’s, with marshmallow and coconut in addition to lemon and vanilla.
